There is no need to talk about Angry Birds anymore; it’s addictive, it get updated very often to keep the addiction going and is available on iOS and Android Mobile devices.
Now Windows Phone 7 users are in for a treat. Rovio has just released their blockbuster game for the latter operating system. Microsoft and Rovio have officially announced that they are working on a port for Windows Phone 7 back in February, after Microsoft let it slip by accident during a product launch.
Angry Birds icon was seen on Windows Phone 7 website but Rovio quickly twitted saying that: “We have NOT committed to doing a Windows Phone 7 version. Microsoft put the Angry Birds icon on their site without our permission.”
The good news is that the game is now available to download on the Marketplace.
If you own a Windows Phone 7 and want to download the game, point your mobile phone’s browser here. The game is free to try and will cost you £2.49 to buy.
The pricing of the game come to a surprise as Rovio offers the game for $.99 on the Apple App Store and even has a free ad-supported version on the Android Market.
How Rovio is justifying the price different? Will you pay £2.49 for it when you know that it much cheaper on other platforms?
